Welcome! It's great that you're asking about this — being prepared really helps. The Lynparza/Avastin (bevacizumab) combination can come with a range of side effects. Here are the most commonly reported ones:

From Lynparza (a PARP inhibitor):
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea or stomach pain
- Changes in how food tastes (sometimes metallic)
- Fatigue and muscle or joint pain
- Anemia (low red blood cell counts)
- Appetite changes

From Avastin (an angiogenesis inhibitor):
- High blood pressure
- Bleeding (including nosebleeds)
- Headaches
- Mouth sores
- Low white blood cell counts
- Fatigue and appetite loss Fatigue tends to be one of the most impactful side effects. A MyOvarianCancerTeam member described it as "bottoming out" — where even small tasks like walking to the kitchen would completely drain their energy.

Nosebleeds can also be surprisingly intense for some people on this protocol, occasionally requiring medical attention.

The good news is that dosages can often be adjusted. As one MyOvarianCancerTeam member shared, their oncologist found the right dosage through trial and error, which made a big difference.

Always keep your care team informed about what you're experiencing — they have tools to help manage these side effects.
