I started Lifyorli and Abraxane on April 21 after a small reoccurrence on my peritoniem. It happened after only 4 months on maintenance Avastin so considered platinum resistant. Sure hope this new treatment is successful. I’m tolerating it well so far.

Have you heard of Abraxane or Lifyorli for ovarian cancer treatment?

Yes, both medications are used in ovarian cancer treatment, particularly for platinum-resistant cases.

Abraxane (nab-paclitaxel) is a chemotherapy drug that's part of newer treatment options for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. It's used in combination with other medications like Lifyorli.

Lifyorli (relacorilant) is a recently FDA-approved medication (March 2026) specifically for platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. It's given in combination with nab-paclitaxel (Abraxane).

Lifyorli may be an option if you've tried one to three prior systemic treatments, with at least one including bevacizumab (Avastin).

These treatments represent emerging options for people whose cancer has become resistant to platinum-based chemotherapy. Your oncology team can help determine if either medication might be appropriate for your specific situation based on your treatment history and cancer characteristics.
