I’d prefer the port where you can shower and swim without an issue. The port site is also fairly hidden under clothing.

I've had my port 3 years and I use it for blood work as well as scans and chemo. It's a lifesaver.

Oncology nurse accesses my port, Then go tohospital CT to inject contrast . Then back to oncology (adjacent to hospital) to have it flushed. It's all in same building.
