After my 1st two protocols(platinum/taxol, doxorubicin/Avastin) failed, tried targeted therapy with Zejula/Keytruda which also failed. Those 3 bought me 2 years. Now looking into 3rd stage double blind clinical trial with taxol called the AXLerate-OC study. As taxol is the standard of care at this point the additive agent is believed to enhance its effectiveness without any identified significant side effects. Not looking forward to the neuropathy but still willing to give it a try. Good luck to you. ππ
After Doxorubicin/Avastin failed went to targeted therapy-Keytruda/Zejula, then a clinical trial with taxol, now on Keytruda/Avastin and oral Cytoxan awaiting genetic proof of FRa+ finding to start latest FDA approved drug Elahere. Best of luck on the road ahead. ππ
Mountaingal, have you tried glutamine? When I first got cancer and did taxol carbo treatments, my oncologist had me take glutamine 3 times a day on days 3-5 after each chemo treatment. I had neuropathy basically to the base of my toes only and just on pasts of my 4-5 fingers! Shortly after chemo was done, the little hit of neuropathy I had resolved!! Might be something to ask about!! My acupuncturist was ecstatic that the oncologist had me so that! Heβs a firm believer!!!
Oops wrong post lol
